I tried USN Protein Crunch and PVM but my jaw is tired after eating a PVM so it is to chewy.

Thanks

Yeah, tried that once in a race - I made the mistake of trying to bite of half a PVM bar at once, in order to get my hands back on the handlebar, well - 15kms later I was still trying to chew that rubber ball which had formed in my mouth. the positive was that the cramping in my jaw muscle distracted me from the pain in my legs I could therefore ride faster. i. e. the PVM bar actually worked. :-)

Pronutro bar is a perfect size and easy to chew but I prefer to avoid processed stuff so also try to stick to bananas and dates (the whole dried ones, not the compressed type you find at the supermarket)

Ok so it seems Jungle Oats bars and Powerbar Energy.

I ride with full finger gloves so eating food won't work for me.

I have Vitiligo so it gets worse with direct sun light (not dishwasher liquid).

I don't understand. Full fingered gloves+banana? Easy.

Full fingered gloves+fruit cake wrapped in wax wrap? Easy.

Must be just me.

I don't keep tubes moist either...

3 back pockets = three course meal: billtong as starter, baby potatoes with salt as main and jelly babies as desert.

Oh, you asked about bars... Jungle Bars are easy to eat and cheap, Hammer Bars are velly healthy but expensive, Power Bars also expensive but the most energy. Cookies and Cream as well as the Peanut flavour are quite lekker!
