Jura Jura.. repeat after me... Jura...

WhAT V12man said. Jura for locally available bean to cups. ITO quality service and value for money. Don't be mislead by a cheap purchase price. Look at total cost of ownership

It's bean to cup - what were you expecting? a slayer?  OK - I know iteachcoffee has one of those...   bean to cup has limits - but some advantages too - ask my 2000 cup a year drinking wife (ok - some of that might be her friends too)

is the one I would buy for the wife - does everything, small, stylish, programmable

The coffee it made was ok.

My reasons for not liking it was the single bean hopper. It made a mess (was constantly full of coffee particles) and it was really large. Took up a lot of counter space.

My wife and i have very different tastes in coffee. Ideally i would like a double bean hopper. One for me and one for her.

The Ena is pretty small and will usually pass the WAF test :)

You can program different  settings for each type of coffee  (cap/latte etc) but it only has a single hopper - so if you like 2 varieties of bean you might want to consider 2 devices... the ones that have 2 hoppers are generally pretty big, and more suitable for office use.

I have seen couples program 2 buttons with different versions of settings for the same drink - to suit their individual tastes - on my siemens btc machine, the settings are not programmable, but you just twist a dial to change strength settings and cup sizes - and that works fine for us (seeing as my wife won't use the espresso machine unless I am standing behind her "helping")
