This turned into an exercise.... the answer.... I don't know... :)

Best you go and visit the importer and get hands on with the 2 machines.... they are easy to find, and they have demo equipment, although it might be best to call ahead.

Thanks for the effort - my research gave the same results - either/or.

Will give the agents a try next week

The wife asked me what I was looking at (http://modbar.com/pour-over/), and said this would blend into the kitchen.

I took a shot to the ribs, which I think means... when are you (me) getting one??

That ia indeed a very nice stand for a filter holder you can buy without the reat of the uber boiler.... Which is just a very fancy kettle.... Google 'hario v90' and you will find it - for home use a smaller one is more appropriate... A v60

Hopefully you showed the wife the prices....that should get you off the hook........or beaten up....

Anyone interested?

Selling a Caffeluxe Milano Espresso Coffee Pod Machine, just put it in Junkmail for R600.

Caffeluxe - Milano Espresso Machine - Red, 6 months old, not used for last 3 months, with warranty, dozen or so pods included. It takes Nespresso pods as well.

Got a Delonghi few months ago - very happy

Yeah, the first question was "how much did your bike cost?"

I just got mine

Which do you prefer the Kazaar or the Dharkan.? I prefer the Kazaar oddly enough although to be honest I really dont find that much of a difference.

A little peeved as I went to Nespresso in Sandton and ordered 5 x Kazaar amongst my usual mix, and only noticed when I got back the fella had given me 5 x Dharkan by mistake, anyway, as I said I cant really tell much of a difference so I just kept it.

Coffe plunger R100 makes a great cuppa

True, coffee craft is fine, but sometimes you just want a quick coffee. I was on the road the weekend and going through some little dorp I just wanted a coffee, stopped at KFC and they didn't have any, so stopped at the Gas station across the road and they had those small franchised coffee shops, the guy brewed it up quick and off I went, nothing special, but at the time it was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it,....I guess I am just a pleb.! :D

And if you buy it for her then you can have another 3 bikes at least? Try asking her where you will store the extra bikes.... :)

Ok! So all you guys seem to know what needs to be known around coffee and its craft...

But i need something easy and cheap to make a nice cup in my office... I have a percolator... i just wondering is there something easier around... with less cleaning involved etc... and yes i have a plunger (it would be nice to have something a little more automated)... and no i dont have thousands for a emospresso...

Im just wondering if there is any other alternatives (to instant *spit* coffee) i can explore...

Just google Hario V30 or Kallita Wave.... basically filter coffee straight into a cup.
