Feel a little inferior posting this, having checked the other posts out. However, I'm proud of her........... ;-) taking her home from ccGallery in Umhlanga.

Never feel inferior, you ride a Momsen

Finally after 5 weeks my parts have arrived from CRC, now I can complete my 1x10 conversion. Received the OneUP 40t cassette ring about 2 weeks ago.

Yes a lekka bike, I just love riding her. Can't wait for my first ride with the 1x10. I haven't ridden with grip shifters for about 15 years so that's going to take some getting used to as well. I want to fit a angle headset sometime as well to slacken the HA just a bit, then I might never ride my 29'er again.

Bought a narrow wide chain ring from Kiwi recently, fitted and tested on a bumpy route at Rietvlei and it was so damn schweet! Wasn't too sure about running no chain guide and a non clutch derailleur but it worked!

Just ordered a Cane creek angle set just waiting for it now.

Clue... it's on the front. 2009 Marzo 66 rc3

I'm gonna keep my lyrik as a spare, or sell the one I decide not to use.

The marzo has the updated stanchions and seals for those of you who remember their 2008/2009 options has issues.post-3056-1405760442,8942.jpg

Yes, it's FLIPPIN heavy (3.2kg vs the 1.8kg of the lyrik) but it's a 180mm with thick ass stanchions and my front end was a bit too light with my current setup (super short stem and slack head angle which is just going to get slacker)

Oh. And it'll take a 650 wheel with high volume tire with EASE.
