Pocket Knives ?

Just a general knife, preferably non-folding but must be made of stainless at least. I have my leatherman for daily use at work, home, etc.

Knife I am looking for will be used mostly when hiking, fishing or riding for normal things like cutting meat/biltong, self defence, etc.

I found a Hibben on Gumtree for a reasonable price(R600), anything else I could consider in this price range more or less?

Reviving an old thread.

Does anybody have any experience with a Damascus

stell bladed knofe?

Keen to get one but want to know if it is worth the extra

money over a normal steel knife?

Aethetically, yes, practically no - and they are not cheap. NOT NOT NOT.... :) I have a little titanium and steel carry knife - weighs about nothing - will put up a pic and a weight..... it was a really cool gift...
