R65 K for the frame,shock,fork and cranks

considering thats a factory 36 fit grip 2 and probably some expensive cranks that'd put it at about 45k for frame and shock alone, which, whille totally insane, puts it inline with other boutique brands like santa cruz, and cheaper than a yeti sb150

Edit: i think those are raceface aeffect cranks, which arent totally expensive actually, but still, 45k is about right

That's a good idea. I'm keen on a Tokai ride because its nice and close to home... Call a ride and see who manages to get it together. Some of us have kids and our time is limited hence the solo missions when a gap appears...

I saw one in the flesh at Jonkers Enduro - it's a dam beautiful bike, very burly.

I think that was Chris Nixons bike - he seems to have swapped it for his Trek. I am not a fan of the dull paintwork on this and several other high end bikes eg the Nomad. Still, its better than the Intense day glo nonsense.

I gotta say I'm loving the dull paintwork. Feels to me like there is enough aftermarket stuff if you want your bike to he colourful, but I just prefer a toned down stealthier option (other than black that is).

If you put a flashy bike on top your flashy Bakkie, I'm pretty sure an earthquake and a tsunami will hit us.
