Hairy Posted July 20, 2017 Share Biggest turn-off is that the coil ruins the inside of your stanchion tubes and you can't run an air assembly again without buying an entire new CSU. word on the street "once you go coil, you don't go back again" Odinson
Traveler Posted July 20, 2017 Share no, the enduro. The convertible full face / half shell. That Leatt is certainly on my wish to have list. https://www.leatt.com/shop/helmets/bicycle/helmet-dbx-3-0-enduro-v2-orange-teal.html HAKAHANA TRAILS and BaltazarMarques

Johnny Lawless Posted July 24, 2017 Share How important would you rate a full face helmet for Enduro?Personally I ride with a chinbar on my Bell Super helmet, not so much because of the gnarliness of the trails (on social rides I'd go without it) but rather because the risks of competition pushing you beyond your normal responsible limits. Chances of a proper faceplant is just more likely in a competition than on a social outing...well in my case at least. HAKAHANA TRAILS Posted July 24, 2017 Share How important would you rate a full face helmet for Enduro?just makes sense these days, but not essential. 7 of the 10 top blokes at haka races are still in open face. Traveler
RiverInTheRoad Posted August 1, 2017 Share Hi Enduro bro's. Wat are the baggy options which are available locally for #enduro? I can't seem to find Troy Lee in RSA. And the Fox Ranger short is boring. What are the other options!? And where do I find them? BaltazarMarques

TLD are rare.... Then there's shreddtech (spelling?) Which have a few options. Otherwise... CRC on end of season sales. Traveler

RiverInTheRoad Posted August 1, 2017 Share Indola pants look like they belong in Kaap Agri.Cape Storm and First Ascent don't have the right image. POC is overpriced considering they don't include a Bib. The only viable option I can find sofar is the Royal stuff and the Specialized stuff. PhilipV Posted August 1, 2017 Share Boardshorts. From a local surf shop. Get the stretch lycra and you are sorted. And you won't look like you are dressing up for an 80s gym party (though even surfers have been known to wear neon colours.)
