How important would you rate a full face helmet for Enduro?

Personally I ride with a chinbar on my Bell Super helmet, not so much because of the gnarliness of the trails (on social rides I'd go without it) but rather because the risks of competition pushing you beyond your normal responsible limits.

Chances of a proper faceplant is just more likely in a competition than on a social outing...well in my case at least.

Hi Enduro bro's.

Wat are the baggy options which are available locally for #enduro?

I can't seem to find Troy Lee in RSA. And the Fox Ranger short is boring. What are the other options!? And where do I find them?

Indola is a good option, available from any sportsmans. As are cape storm, first ascent and others. TLD are rare....

Then there's shreddtech (spelling?) Which have a few options. Otherwise... CRC on end of season sales.

There are some options from POC through PureMotion Sports as an alternative https://www.puremotionsports.co.za/product-category/bike-wear/

Haven't yet bought from the site so can't comment beyond the option being available

Indola pants look like they belong in Kaap Agri.Cape Storm and First Ascent don't have the right image. POC is overpriced considering they don't include a Bib.

The only viable option I can find sofar is the Royal stuff and the Specialized stuff.

Boardshorts. From a local surf shop.

Get the stretch lycra and you are sorted.

And you won't look like you are dressing up for an 80s gym party (though even surfers have been known to wear neon colours.)

I bought these from a cycle shop in the UK 2 weeks ago. Still have to try them out but what I like most is the fact that the inner can be taken out completely and be used as normal pants or as overpants over lycra. I also have a pair of Indola's which I'm super chuffed with.f68e7ddb8690ea52b33f713c49601245.jpg

Keep the rubber on the gravel!
