What is the best value for money hydration pack at moment?

And go.....

EVOC Enduro Blackline.

for 3 reasons.

1. I have one therefore it is the best

2. It has the word Enduro in it so therefore it is the best

3. It has a built in back protector so if you buy anything else you will almost certainly end up in a wheelchair.

Innov8 Fanny pack - R250 with bottle? :)

Nah... value? Now that is a relative thing. I got a Deuter one for R395 with source bladder (best bladders eva!) from camp and climb that was super cheap but was a bit of a dog fit wise. It was cheap but wasn't the best value as an experience.

I've got a Mule that I got on special for R1100 and I'm not a fan at all. I searched high and low for a Dakine Drifter for ages before getting the camelbak and then Stressed Eric posted one for sale here: https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/271522-dakine-drafter-12l-hydration-pack/ as it's a hell of a pack and great ventilation, storage, carrying capabilities etc. I'd swap out my Mule in a heartbeat. People love their Evocs as well...

Back protection would be great in a new pack but I have a seperate back protector. Pinned.co.za had some Leatt DBX 10L with back protector at 50% off the other day but they look very burly on the front and hot.

Those Evoc packs are awesome no doubt. But gonna set you back 3 to 4k if not more.

Also look at the dakine packs. They not bad either and also has the back protector insert.

I am using an USWE pack, they the same as the leatt ones.

Where did you get your USWE pack from my old F3 might need replacing soon and would like to get one again.

Thanks

No. Just no! Fanny packs are for Middle Aged American tourists who are "on safari" in Downtown Cape Town wearing khaki clothing.

What do you mean? #SoEnduro  :)

Hahaha, controversial. Got to brush up on my american and grab some new Khakis cos got these coming in next week! Personally I'm keen on the more minimal pack for riding at the mo. Dig my Evoc but also feel restricted at times so gonna give the fanny a bash... ;-) http://reviews.mtbr.com/leatt-dbx-core-2-0-hip-pack-first-look

Evoc have their sizing and compartments right and look the part. The Leatt packs look great but I always find it a bit of a squish when trying to fit all day ride essentials in comfortably.
