LOL I was in the same boat, but then realized the is white in the pack.........

I see Leatt has 2 version of the pack, GPX (Moto) and the DBX (MTB)

 

I can't really see a huge difference between them. A few extra features (tool storage card), but otherwise the same. Unless I'm missing something

If gloves, suspension oil, tyres are anything to go by the MTB version will be less durable and significantly more expensive. But crucially it will be 3 grams lighter justifying the price differential.

Those things come in at a decent weight but the 30mm versions didnt come in Boost according to the email I received, which struck me as odd and probably a typo error.

In the market for a new lid, and the new Leatt DBX 2.0 looks the biz and is high up on my wish list. However, I see they are only available early 2018, so maybe I'm a bit to early, but has any body seen them around yet, or know when they are expected here.

If I was in the market for a new lid, I would have a serious look at the Specialized Ambush.

The price has come down from R2800 to R2000.

 

I tried one on a while ago and it fitted my pip really nicely and was a lot lighter than it looked.
