Yep, per side. We can help with pricing on all our products so get in touch if you're keen on anything.

Personally running the V4's with braided hoses and they are serious. Never given issues, no fade and super adjustable. Not the quickest to bleed I've heard but haven't needed to bleed mine for over a year and still no hassles.

Took top spot in VITAL MTB Heavy Duty Brake Face off...

Actually really loved my Guide RS and RSC's and swore by them but after both had the same issues with the pistons I was convince by a mate to get Hope and glad I went for them. Sure they sorted the pistons under warranty but having to wait while they were being warrantied was a bummer.

Reach adjust is on the inner side of the lever blade, think you need an allen key to work it. Just seems like a fiddly location

Nah, I do know where they are. They aren't a hassle at all to get to but I've not actually had to do emergency trail side reach adjusting... I've got alot of my own bad skills to get over before tweaking them is going to save my riding!

the guide R's (I think that's what you have, right?) are a bit... strange. They don't have the same cam as the RS / RSC / Ultimate, which results in a very linear delivery of power. RS / RSC / Ultimate have a more progressive nature to the power delivery.

Having said that - the Hopes I have now are far better ito modulation, IMO.

I think that's it. The SLX have the servo wave amps the power up nicely.  I am hopeful that a full bleed will make them a lot better though.  From new, the front brake felt soft compared to the rear, which is weird as its usually the opposite way around.

I am currently using Guide R. They are awesome, but then again they are my first set of 4 pot brakes. Been using them since Nov last year and so far so good.

Yup, that's right, but they are pretty easy to get to with an allen...

Been looking for a set of knee gaurds, has anyone tried on or ridden in the new Leatt 3DF 6.0 knee guards - any comments appreciated.

I can only comment on the 5.0. They are breathable and comfy and have good coverage. I have not had a major fall with them yet, so can't comment on how effective they actually are...

Getting mine hopefully this week still, if so I'll take them out for a spin over the weekend and comment here again.

Saw some of their wheels at Epic last year... broken by about day 4.

These were only released in December.

Were they not perhaps cheap Chinese eBay trispoke wheels?

Nope - definitely the same manufacturer but a 4 spoke wheel from memory - they alternately cursed each other and their wheel supplier in German over a few stages where we rode in close proximity - then they disappeared from our start group - but we did chat to them at registration about the wheels and later in camp the problems they were having (my partner is very fluent in German).

I really don't think trispoke type wheels are suitable for multi day racing - maybe for XCE they would be fine for the all or nothing type of racing that is.

This is back AGAIN?? How many times have tri / quad spoke all in ones been given a go in the MTB realm? Bet you can't put them in the oven to straighten them out like the old BMX ones.

Honestly, if you crack a rim then they are done aren't they? Specialist hubs, can't swop out a new rim... hope they have a decent price and a great crash repair scheme / warranty.

i dont think it's the lack of spokes, but rather the design compromises made getting it light for the weight conscious crowd. Light but strong is an objective approached via an asymtotic locus. I for one am very keen to have a set for my enduro rig (albeit i have reservations around the custom bits and bobs). i think it looks crazy good! Just hope they designed and tested it properly.
