Is it just me or is Sagan getting himself into poor positions in the sprints this year? It seems like he finds himself behind lead out riders that are pulling out and slowing down.

He just had a great year last year.

Yup the Skyborg troops are looking a bit thin - will G get back on the case? he has just been hanging in there. Richie, has he recovered enough to become #1 Wing Man in the mountains? That other Manxman Peter Kennaugh still nursing a hurt arm? Eddie is a very pleasant guy as well, shame he is out.

Well more of test of character and fitness for Chris then. Too bad The Wig isn't there to juxtapose and pull him along this year.

Team depth was one of Sky's differentiators from other teams.

This is a huge risk factor for Froome.

He has a good time cushion and pad it even more with the next TT.

He'll need every sec.

Daryl did well today - what happened to their man man Gossy?

Saw him crossing the line a few minutes after the sprinters, looks like he was involved in the big pile up

Pity for the Sky boys, less than 3km to go and to be left with a broken collar bone is really unfortunate.

Absolutely love the way Kittle beat Cavandish, bet be was seething in the team bus while drinking hot chocolate out of a cup with a picture of himself on it.
