That city blew my mind... I yearn to go back. From JFK after a million hours on a plane, on a train, into the subway, walking up the stairs out into the day in Manhattan, the yellow cabs, the noise, the unique smell, the high rise buildings, I was a proper country bumpkin in the city, jaw open and wide eyed.. Will never forget it.

We're going to have a major come-down tomorrow night when we get home :-(

watching Norsemen on Netflix at the moment. Hysterical satire of the program Vikings. Entertaining.

 

I echo your sentiments on the New York thing. Spent time there and in Chicago and now every time I watch some thing on TV I irritate the lass by saying - I was there... I was there...  makes her grumpy...

So who else is having issues with Showmax? I just can't get that stoopid app on my smart tv to not drop the fibre connection like a hot potato, usually about 3 minutes in to watching an episode of whatever...I then have to switch the tv off, and restart, then log back in to Show(min)max again. Only for the whole stupid problem to repeat itself. I then change over to Netflix, and bam, it works. I go across to Redbull TV, same thing, works every time. Then I think, great, problem solved. Open Showmax, start to watch, 5 minutes later, boom - unable to resolve IP, contact support blah blah blah...

Finished Sons of Anarchy last night ... it was a good show, but not exceptional.

 

So what's next .... curious about the "Mayan's MC" .... anyone been watching this?

Was offered a 3 month trial to Amazon Prime, so looking forward to new Grand Tour in January but discovered all the Seinfeld episodes so watching them from season 1 again... Still damn funny.
