Right, where's splat. my scifi couch buddy ;)

Have you, and anyone else for that matter, started watching Devs?

it's getting quite trippy.

I watched Episode 4 last night

Quite trippy?

Bit of an understatement !

Sidenote:

I was going to describe the film 'Annihilation' as trippy on the other thread, but that didn't quite cover it.

Coincidentally, 'Lily' (Sonoya Mizuno) also appears in the film.

Edit: A bit more time on Wiki and the dots are starting to connect:

Devs, Ex Machina and Anihilation are all written by Alex Garland.

And they all have Sonoya Mizuno in them too.

Don't think I even finished season 2

Stellar cast

I read these reviews:

Season 2: "Despite impressive performances and attractive cinematography, Bloodline's second season fails to recapture its predecessor's dramatic intrigue."

Season 3: "Muddled and unsatisfying, Bloodline's final season offers disappointing proof that a stellar cast can only carry a series for so long."

That helps me make up my mind to not attempt season 3.

True Detective followed a similar trend and proves that when the first season is brilliant, its very hard to follow on with anything worthwhile. The rest are just dragging out the story for the sake of it (because money).

I get irritated when I find myself watching the sequels hoping for it to get better or rise to the standard of the original

Been catching up on a lot of old series.

Stuff I've watched with a star rating 1-5:

Ozark 1/2/3 ***

Peaky Blinders *****

Fargo season 1, (busy with 2) ***

Drive to survive (Netflix F1 series) *****

Slaying the badger ***

Mindhunters ***

Lost in Space ***

I am at s3 of Versailles. Love period dramas and this one has some great characters that really grow on you. For me the King is a bit meh. His brother steals the show. Such a complex character.

5 stars for the Peaky 4king Blinders (in the inimitable voice of Arthur)

Fist season is brilliant.. Haven't been in the right head space to watch the second yet

Finished S1. Started on S2 E1 and halfway through the episode I was like meh I'm bored. But I'll try again. I'm sure it will be good.

S1 is excellent. RG is brilliant.
