Lance is the fall guy............he has been punished for everybody's sins. I say, reinstate him all make all races within that specific era null and void.

On 2nd thoughts: if they ever do give it back (which will never happen) he should tell the politely thanks but go **** yourself. Everybody knows who won those tours. Who gives a **** whose pictures hang in the UCI/ASO office or whose name is embossed on some bronze plate in some corrupt UCI/ASO official's office

It wasn't fair because "everyone was doing it" - some riders weren't favooured to be on the dope program and many more were kept out of the top level. Better to declare those years null and void. Why reward criminals?

Why should they? Its a fact that in my working environment there is a lot of corruption and underhanded dealings. Lets say I get fired should i do something dishonest, they will laugh their buts off if a colleague says, but corruption is rife and no one seems to get fired that easy and that I should get my job back.

Pro cycling is exactly the same. Its their jobs, so if you dont play according to the rules, you gotta go. Its the only way they could at least attempt in getting the sport clean. Or without cutting any corners, they can just as well have a doper TdF and a clean one.

Sums up my feelings.

Then a certain medical/insurance company had that other one Hamilton in SA. Dinners and rides were being marketed, with tickets up for grabs putting him on a pedastal. I say vok hom, and the sponsors that brought him out here.

I will never entertain a policy from that co again.

I don't see that you can say with complete confidence that every rider was cheating at the time?

Every rider was cheating, and almost no one go caught?? (percentage wise)

How crap were those tests then?

Not every rider was competing for the GC - Its not like the few that werent were competing for the top spots or even team leaders so their chances of winning were very low to begin with

None of them deserve any recognition of any kind. It's not that they cheated or doped, but he way they went about it. Lance was probably the best of the lot, but it is not something to be proud of

This has been another random LA post, the dope worked best on him and his ego got the best of him!

Level playing field argument has no truth in it, as all rides reacted differently to the drugs while some had massive improvents others had very little.

Sit back relax for 7-10 years till they can test for the stuff the current bunch is on and we can do this all again! Can't wait...

Jan Ullrich is actually younger than Jens and Horner... he could still come back now he's served his suspension. Wonder if Garmin would pick him up with their policy.

Hell no. As long as Lance is stripped of his title, My joke stands.

Who would have guessed that I have just as many official tour victories as Lance.

Seriously. I think those empty spots on the official results should stay. No one has won
