He is also believed to have been concussed on Saturday, Dorna just seems to ignore concussions by only doing CAT scans which do not pick them up. He 100% had memory loss after the fall.

BT Sports commentators were talking about concussion a lot.  I do believe it needs to be taken more seriously.  I've had it, and you certainly aren't making well informed decisions and thinking clearly.  More so when you've had more than one...

rumour has it that rossi has the full works spec bike... even his half brother overtook him yesterday.

The bike might be the same but its a new team for him and his whole team set up (engineers, mechanics) have changed, at that level it makes a difference.

Unfortunately age and time are not on his side, VR has won everything there is (all the different classes going right back to 125cc 2 stroke up to the current motogp versions, but nobody can expect to continue like that forever

That being said, i think they will improve the bike and setup and we could see him edging towards the top 10

Fabio had the pressure relief surgery, now it seems they may need to do the "membrane" removal. Same as what dogged Cal for a year.

Pecco points to his training regime......... Mind games perhaps.

Seems to be that the pressure of braking on the arms and wrists is a factor.  Brake efficiency creeps up every year to around 2g now (double that on an F1 car where it is 4g or 5g).  I think Miller also suffered with arm pump recently. For MX, an old problem, maybe different cause though.

... I am sorry, time to call it quits. He should not be that far down, even in his swansong period......

I think this every race.

I really hope he's having fun out there because that seems to be the only thing I can think of to keep him coming back each race, languishing mid pack or usually dropping. (Although I highly highly doubt it)

The sport will be less without him thats for sure, even if it is only for a split second of TV time. But it hurts to see him dwindling in front of our eyes.

Time to invent a seat belt for MotoGP to take the weight off the wrists?

I giggled a bit on Sunday, the only time they panned to VR was entering into T6 and he ran it wide. They very quickly went back to the leaders.

If others are happy to see that then good on them.

I do see now that Yamaha have pushed a bunch of engineers into his garage to try and help him at Mondays testing. Honestly hope it works. He was closer to the top 10 but Marc, Fabio and Jack were not there. Most of the other riders were testing parts. The new HRC wing kit looks like it could have come straight off of a M1.......

That's where I think highly of Zarco, when it wasn't working at KTM he packed his stuff and walked. Takes balls.

Speaking about VR, one thing I'm sad about is that I never went to a race at Mugello.

(Covid hindsight obviously, because who knows when I could afford it again, and the how long stands will be empty, and even how long VR will continue)

But to be in those scenes with bajillions of fans dressed in 46 regalia, with those yellow smoke bomb things, just going mental. True fan or not aside, thats really very special.

Le Mans doing Le Mans things

Should make for some interesting racing. Don't think Fabio is so much of a favourite in mixed conditions.
Marc and Vale may even have a chance at a podium if things are really truly mixed. Lets see.

It's definitely going to help Marc if it's wet from a physical point of view.

Isn't Jackass the rain specialist?

He won one race in the wet where most contenders fell and Marc then settled for points, and that was in 2016 I believe. Wonder why this seems to be the belief.......

Did you see his brutal commentary yesterday, about Honda missing a truly fast rider while he was away........

I mean, between his brother and Bradl I don't think much happened in 2020.

True but Bukaki wasn't doing too bad when given data.
I think it speaks of his confidence, don't think he is too far from fully fit......

How many wet races have there been since then? Not many I don't think. Personally I hope for no rain but it sure throws the cat amongst the pigeons.
