Well needless to say, before we even peeled off to go in to the city, his positive was not making contact with his negative, he had all sorts of battery acid pouring from his pores and I could even hear little yelps of "mommy, mommy...."

I felt last year, and I was standing under the N1 bridge before the start.

Once we got going the volume increased exponentially.

By the time I got to Hyde Park, I was toast

I had a look at the road closures around the start and first part of the route.

From what I could see woodmead drive is a no go until 10-ish

My wife's office is in Western Services Road and she said I could park there (just next to the Baron). Only problem is I wouldn't know how to get there from Centurion with all the road closures.

I contemplated riding to the start, but that might just be too much.

ANy suggestions on a route?

I'm not 100% sure (I can't download the road closures from the site,) but I think you can just take the highway, and get of at Rivonia Rd like this http://goo.gl/maps/PH0Kl

I received a phone call this morning to say that my re-seed application was successful after I had sent them all my previous results and racing group.

So what group you in now?

Take the New Road offramp, come and park here at our shop, get on to the R55 and just whizz past Waterfall to the start.

I rode Crater the one year on a 34/14.

This gear was way too big for Crater, it hurt me bad, however I reckon for 94.7 your 33/15 or even 33/14 is a magic gear
