Confirmed sightings of a brown hyena on the loose around Delta Park along the cycle paths. Considering they're not predators you should be okay but if you fall and are all bloody.... hhmmmm :ph34r:

 

If you see it on your cycles give the authorities a shout - let's try get this hyena back into a safe spot - on the roads is going to result in it being road kill or killed out of fear.

I don't know Rouxtjie but it has been described as big and hairy.

Amazing

Wonder where it came from.They are extremely shy but will come into urban areas if hungry to scavenge

Totally harmless unless cornered then will attack like any wild animal

They are very interesting animals.In Namibia they call them Strandwolf as they will even take fish etc from the shallows

I was counting on it.

jis ou, ONE week then we leave. .. . hijack off...back to the Spruit/swamp Rat/dog/hyena....
