Considering they're not predators you should be okay but if you fall and are all bloody.... hhmmmm If you see it on your cycles give the authorities a shout - let's try get this hyena back into a safe spot - on the roads is going to result in it being road kill or killed out of fear. Stay safe.

AmazingWonder where it came from.They are extremely shy but will come into urban areas if hungry to scavenge Totally harmless unless cornered then will attack like any wild animalThey are very interesting animals.In Namibia they call them Strandwolf as they will even take fish etc from the shallows
