2014 Tour De France

I guess it was a case that he was on his own and had to do it for him self, a team unsure if he was going to make the cut and couldn't risk other riders going down with him if he faltered.

Like alot of teams so far plan isn't really there so it's now stages and you need as many peole in the mix for that one. If he made it through bonus, he was all but packed up half way though the day anyway and who knows if he'll get much further but respect for the effort.

I agree but harsh to watch it unfold.

As a friend of mine said Talansky rode 180km in 5hrs mostly on his own, try that on your next ride and you not injured.

Huge respect.

Don't forget the terrain, wasn't a flat stage (by SA standards). RESPECT

Sagan questioned on a move to Astana...

@TheRaceRadio: Sagan to Astana? http://sporza.be/cm/sporza/wielrennen/Tour/140716_Sagan_richting_Astana_bron

Schotte: "Een betrouwbare bron."

Sagan: "Ah, oké, we zien volgend jaar wel."

if your Dutch is like mine then here's my translation:

The literal translation of the interview with Sagan

Schotte: "Yesterday at the table you said that your future is uncertain. Could you be at Astana?"

Sagan: "What do you mean?"

Schotte: "Is your future in Astana?"

Sagan: "Who said that?"

Schotte: "a reliable source."

Sagan: "Ah, okay, we'll see next year."

Interesting hair style too

This day belongs to Talansky !!! A new hero is born ..... man that is sheer guts and glory.

Yes how tough was that he got back on that bike wiped away his tears wiped his nose and gritted it out I dont think anyone really knows how much pain he was in but it must of been really really bad that will be a day he can be proud of forever.

I dont know if its wise for him to carry on today and suffer just for the sake of it as its a long way to go still but I suppose medical staff will help make decision today.

Sagan is a bit windgat. That can have good and bad repercussions for him.

Both Astana and Tinkoff have big budgets.

Either way, Sagaaan might be on a Spez.

I'll have to buy a Spez from Wyatt' then.
