I had the same injury 3 yrs ago. The doctor warned me never to land on the shoulder again as it may not be fixable a second time. I wonder if it will affect Cavendish's career?

I love this summary. Where did you get it from?

Is was a retweet, tried to look for it but couldn't find it.

How do I get Cav out of my fantasy team? at the moment they say the transfers are closed?

It works on rounds.

Round 1 was Stage 1 & 2, Then only could you change riders, we are now in Round 2, which is Stage 3 - 6, Then you cant change again.

Ja, the next time we can transfer riders is at the end of stage 6, but before stage 7 starts.

We can only transfer riders in the short windows between rounds. Rounds are here.

Luckily made my changes. Matter of fact I made about 3 changes. I only see about 2 more transfers on the cards for me till the end (if no injuries). Planning to bring JRod back in the mix later so I really hope he starts shaping...

Really hoping to see the footage from this angle. Apparently on Roelandts and Henderson today. Not sure about the BMC bike though. So says a tweet anyway.

Andy Schleck has pulled ripcord and will not continue

Damn :cursing:

Unless he targets and succeeds in the Vuelta this withdrawal even though through injury must be career damning.

Perhaps next time he acts like an idiot an headbutts an opponent in a sprint, he will think twice?

Edit: Sorry if I sound insensitive and I would never wish an injury on any rider, BUT I can't help but feel that although everyone gives Cav so much sympathy following this incident, its infact Simon Gerrans that is the victim in all this after having the start of his tour compromised after being headbutted off his bike.

I give up...he can't stay on a bike and can't finish a Tour. Will have to support Jens,Fabian and Frank now.

Hope one of them can pull off a stage win

Is that similar to 'denting your ego' after being out-climbed by the sprinter Peter Sagan?
