Does the Post Office issue helmets?

You know the other day I saw a post office delivery worker riding on the wrong side of the road. Someone needs to stop the scourge of postie lawlessness

The guy that delivers our post wears a helmut Not sure if its an "official" PO helmut though.

My postman is forever stopping by to borrow a spanner or two, if they don't give him a maintained bike I doubt they'd bother with the helmet

We all wear our helmets all the time ! But I have never heard or seen anythng like that .

Well its an offence to talk on your cellphone and not wear a seat belt when driving, but according to Wayne Minnar the Metro cops have had "special" training and are exempt. Perhaps the PO guys have also had "special" training which does not require them to wear one.
