Active Monkey Posted December 17, 2013 Share My tubless ( newly done) has a leak. Its a small pin size hole. When doing the tires i saw it... Shakes slime and it sealed. Left bike two day and tire deflated. Pumped it up again and same whole was spewing air. Shakes tire around a bit and again it seemed to have sealed. Why did it open up again the 1 st time and will it happen again? Have done tubeless a few times before and never had this before...

MrJacques Posted December 17, 2013 Share What tyres and sealant are you using? I've heard that some people who mix their own sealant throw some glitter in to help sealing punctures.
Vetseun Posted December 17, 2013 Share Use Stans. If not pop a spoon full of glitter in the tyre with the sealant. Works believe me Active Monkey

shaper Posted December 18, 2013 Share use a repair patch for a tube and stick it on the inside of the tyre where the hole is. Then redo your tubeless with sealant. Edited December 18, 2013 by shaper
