worriesnot Posted February 3, 2014 Share +1 oh dear.... I have a set of these (26") still unused (got them middle of 2013). Seems I made a bum purchase without even knowing it looking at two comments in the thread. Oh well...

MrJacques Posted February 3, 2014 Share @l4y3rcake I bought some el cheapo flat pedals to try riding with flats again (usually ride with spds). They didn't even fit my cranks... guess I'll be sticking to spds as well. My first pair of spds was a second hand set (non Shimano) from a friend. They were horrible, struggled clipping in and out. Almost put me off using clipless pedals.
leona Posted February 3, 2014 Share is it all conti race kings you are talking about or just the cheaper versions? I've been using them for the last 2 years both 26 and 29 and i love them! using the protection version
madbradd Posted February 3, 2014 Share Lake gloves. Took them on 1 ride.... took them off half way through. Spez ground control tyre.... 1st ride (spruit) and got a side wall puncture. Unlucky I know, but was pretty bleak about it.

They are nice and quick for jeeptrack and the like... in muddy conditions they offer no purchase though
RocknRolla Posted February 3, 2014 Share A Mountainbike from Cajees. It was not the bike's fault, more the salesperson's incompetence selling the righ sized frame and my noobness in not knowing any better.

patches Posted February 3, 2014 Share Crank Brother's Iodine headset. It didn't even survive installation without raining bearings all over the garage floor. X-act BB tool... stripped the notches on an XTR BB.
