What are your opinions on a 3 or 4 day stage race for us roadies up here in Jozi.I know there was a Vets tour but that seems to have disappeared along with the dodos.How many people would be interested if it was for licenced, vets and open seeded?and when you be a good month to do it in? Thanks guys/gals

Problem with some of previous ones that dissappeared that numbers low and the only the fastest rock up meaning a long Time trial for those not on same level.So next year they do not pitch.Therefore it must be marketed that the open seeded will be seperate to allow enough numbers. It is one of my objectives for next year or two an only tours is very far. Panorama and Clover.
Spinnekop Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 3 Days, 4 stages with a hill climb in it. Entry fees was the death of the Vets tour. That and you have to travel to demoerandgone and take time from work. Best bet would be rolling road closure and somewhere out in the Cradle/Harties area. Have ONE bunch capped at say 150-200 riders entering.Podium for top 10no prize moneyJersey to the "most aggressive" and hill climb and leader of the tour. August or September when the season starts off again. Few ideas.... Underachiever, NISI and Wez-O 3
