Thats a good looking machine. Very nice of them to do that. Looks like the bike that Sauser is riding this year?

It looked like Sauser, Rabon, Stander and Nic Porteous

I was absolutely amazed at how many 2014 S-Works Epics there were out there.

It was the same thing at Attakwas this year. In 2009, the most common bikes were Giant Anthems, now every second bike is a Specialized Epic, and many of those S-Works.

The bike industry must be booming if you look at the money riders spend on bikes.

hehehe,

Well I haven't fitted them to my ride, but also don't see the problem, on a long ride it makes you more comfy, and what ever is wrong with that.

Don't you have riser bars :whistling:

Bar ends on a flat bar have always seemed fine to me

And me, I have them on my hardtail and commuter mtb. But don't work with risers / swept back imo.

I think Tread magazine had an article or stats. That may be from last year though.

At a glance, Specialized was by far the most popular. Followed by Scott and then Giant, I think.

A lot of the over seas riders had brands that I had never heard of or we don't get here.

Those Canyon bikes look awesome

I wonder how much fun Manny is having today on Stage 2 with his fatbike?

I hope he's floating over the mud! :)
