Hi guys, don't know if this was done before, but the more forums I browse the more I see some Afrikaans used between guys, and wondered why the Hub ever became an English accepted forum.Would be cool to see what comes out on top.Geniet die CWC sale ;)

Because English is the accepted language for the majority of business dealings in SA. And a lot of english speakers can't speak afrikaans for shizz, whereas the majority of afrikaans speakers can speak & write pretty good english.

Depends in where in SA.. over here in the platteland. . ENG folk have no option but to be able to communicate in Afr, whereas some of the afr people battle with Eng.
