BSG Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 No that was the price and I over thought the purchase as I don't have that amount of money on me and I had a friend coming over to buy it and we told the seller that we would take it on Monday, cash deal, but his neighbor over heard the conversation and jumped the line and bought it. I wouldn't be too disappointed though - those bikes do have a reputation for being reliable, but 62000km for a single is a lot of km's. Unless it was serviced religiously, and had dealer stamps to confirm, you were probably looking at a top-end refurbish anyway which would have set you back close to R15k. Blueprinting - when you spend the entire weekend matching up and cleaning the ports for maybe 0.5kw extra But at least now I know that everything is matching like Yamaha intended. We used to skim the heads of our 50's by using waterpaper and glass to get some extra compression. Boer maak n plan.
