Was out to a site in Stellenbosch this morning, and as I getting ready to leave the heavens opened up, and lighting put on a really good show.

At one point I had to pull over as the lightening was literally going over my head on that long stretch from Stellies to the N1.

Some road sections closer to home resembled a freaking river!

Moral of the story, I need to find some decent wet weather gear.

Quick question here. Does anybody know where I can buy a small amount of electric conductive paint? My phone cradle has worn down its contact points and I want to try to put paint on them. Limit of about R300 otherwise it's not cost effective

When your eldest asks you to pick him up after a school event.

On the bike.

At a very specific location on the school grounds.

Then when he leaves on the back of the bike, the group of girls at the table call and wave good bye to him.

#Priceless 😂

Clever lad. He has moves 😂

While pottering in the garage yesterday I noticed my tyres were looking long-in-the-tooth/short-in-the-tread and with an upcoming 1400km adventure rally next Feb, I figured it was time for new ones.

Good thing I happened upon this, as one of the local suppliers had my tyre of choice (Motoz Tractionator RallZ) for 30% off.

$335 (approx R3350) for both and shipping. Only a shade more expensive than MTB tyres (which gram-for-gram are ludicrous)

Tractionator Rallz 120/90/18 - Moto | Hyper Ride

Now to build up the energy & motivation to wrestle with some Tublis inserts and change these tekkies!

LOL, I got caught in that on my way back from a meeting in Paarden Eiland. Was clear in S Subs, as I was going down the M5 towards Koeberg Interchange I started seeing the lightning...

Was in the thick of it on the way home...

Must be a special kind of crazy to supercharge a Rocket 3!

Quite a few of them overseas. Must me a mental ride. My standard Rocket still blows me away. I can only imagine what a supercharged one must be like.
