My LBS did the original build with the shock upside down and apparently that's the way they've always built up the TB......even double checked when I first collected the bike to make sure someone hadn't been having an off day during final assembly.

 

Kept having hassles with the shock requiring new seals and loosing pressure unexpectedly until eventually (after get another rebuild) to turn the shock "right way" up and no further problems.

this is exactly what happened to me, luckily i got my unit swopped out as a warranty,

Final product. Changed wheels to Corse carbon rims on special edition turquoise Chris King hubs and had to get a Race Face BSA30 bottom bracket.

 

Taking it for her maiden ride tomorrow.

You can say that again! As always got some superb service from William and Daryn at William's Bike Shop. Left the decision of the wheels till this morning and Will pulled out some of his years of wheel building skills to build up the wheels before I picked the bike this afternoon.
