Well I guess we know who the bicycle asshole is now. Jules wouldn't have been my guess!

You read it wrong. His tweet mentioned @bicycleasshole.

This link to the letter that preceded the retracted tweet:

Its hard to take a letter of demand seriously when they start off by defining their client as "their client". Who else would they be acting on behalf of?

And who includes case law in a letter of demand? Posturing much?

Quite right - my bad! Jules replied to the "Dave's partner makes me suspicious" tweet..

I see at least one person who got involved in the Twitter melee has withdrawn his tweet after receiving a letter from Sadlier.

Yep. I'd much rather put my tail between my legs than spend a few thousand on a case I don't even feel that strongly about.

The only winner in this tale will be Emma.

In hindsight it would have been better to have kept quiet.

In future I'll try and follow the excellent advice Eldron has dispensed on this thread.

I am a bit lost here, so how is Jules implicated ?

His reply to @zkrige was seen as defamatory.

I see that now, I can't say if his tweet is anti or pro FanD's tweet.

Most of the defamation letters of demand we receive here contain case law. It is indeed posturing. Intended to intimidate.
