Drove it for my first year through varsity. 1.6 double overhead cam pushing about 70kW to the back wheels. Was stock standard when I started driving it around 1996 apart from the carb (replaced the solex with a lekker weber. I loved that car... Body work was a complete dog - rusting, duct tape over holes in the roof, one door didn't open, trim missing etc. but the engine and chassis were in good nick... Was an absolute beaut to drive!
