I think its a budget thing...Cunny and Rob are well informed from the dh perspective...but they probably canot afford a second xc specialist so they just chuck Rob in there..with some backup by cunny. You are right though...he comments more on the the wheel size than anything else.....I do enjoy bart though

budget...you mean red bull have a ceiling?!

I wonder how much his apparently massive crash that morning affected his run. My feeling is not that much....just some incredible riding from those above

talking about smooth...I though ratboy's top section looked like he was riding on air - the boy was showing some serious style - he made it look as easy as pie. Sam won it between splits one and two I reckon

To answer your question http://www.triridemt...nt-sainte-anne/

and Greg's hand is about double it normal size.

Ouch indeed - wonder if that hit on th bar that knocked off his left wrist was what did it... which hand was it?

Must say great as the race was, the coverage was not the best for me. Not enough close ups and Warner was rather off form. "Cunny" turned into "Rich" and there is a distinct lack of humour. Maybe it was too hot for them...

Gosh and I don't know how many times they said nino has not been on form.. aye aye aye.. he flatted in pmb still finished 6th, didn't ride cairns and Julian beat him at abstadt.. can't exactly say not on form.. and if I am not mistaken Nino beat Julain in a couple of BMC XC cups.. I could be wrong though.

I did chortle at "angrier than a man with a fork in a world of soup" though...

Another classic Warnerism. And Claudio's crash at the SAME PLACE as he crashed last year!?

"this is where I crashed last year, and OH! I did it again!"

Mentioned that on social media Saturday night, also liked when he said something about someone who had fell 'looked like he had been dragged in behind a truck' or something like that ... :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

to be honest...I dont give a rats ass about the commentary...so long as I can watch these masters of their sport in action

but yes...so far Leogang wins for coverage and camera angles

nailed it.

true .. and its all laid on at Red Bull so many thanks to them for filming & streaming that. Rob's XC commentary is just an add-on to his downhill stint and he does blag his way through it, I am sure he is getting paid well enough.
