fanievb Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I like beer, all kinds of beer (well most of them) went on a random tasting this weekend while visiting mates in PTA (we don't get the same variety in EL) Off the beers in the pic I only liked the 2M one, which by the way was the cheapest of the lot. o ja a flavoured beer is not beer it's cooldrink and should be served in a long glass with ice, an umbrella and a straw.

I am wonderring if they found a lost pallet of these things in a dark corner of the distribution centre.... just like when it was availalbe on the shelves way back when, i will skip it and go for something else... Every now and again they run a batch, something to do with retaining the name/recipe rights. I read that somewhere after the last run date, might have been the internet, in which case it's gospel

divernick Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I like a good IPA, like those from Brewers and Union (Handwerk and Sun Day) as well as Devil's Peak IPA. I really enjoy the fruity aroma and characteristically full flavour of a good IPA. Definitely my favourite "genre" at the moment. That said, almost any cold beer is great after a ride. The 2M(pronounced Doish M(Dois is 2 in Portuguese)as you call it is from Mozambique, so transport cost here are not that heavy. The rest are overseas beers so shipping/transport costs are a lot more expensive. 2M is actually a very lekker beer.
