Too long a process. Should be able to get test results done in a matter of days, certainly in under 1 week. Then announce immediately. Give 2 weeks time for preparation, then hearing, give few days time for verdict to be announced. Whole thing done in under 4 weeks. That way I would see it as fair.

That's just not feasible. These are essentially legal proceedings, with peoples's entire livelihoods on the line. You (as a pro defending yourself) don't just rush into a hearing with a half-baked story...

Pretty sure it took the defence team months of hard work to find the source of the ingestion and put a case together. Ever think that maybe Impy delayed the hearing a few weeks to make sure his case was solid?

Amen on that - who really cares what actually happened? None of us will ever know the truth (if there is even a truth other than the dirty chemist).

Awesome to have another saffer in/back in the peleton.

I see the commentators had good things to say about Louis LEWIS Maincheese at the Vuelta yesterday - he took some fine scalps.

Hmmm Maincheese - if that sticks I'm gonna claim rights. You heard it here first!

Yes, you have a valid point. But I still think a 6 month long drawn out process is not good for anyone, not the cyclist or the sport.

Wonder what OGE will do now?

Some teams are sticky

What are their policy. Hopefully, not too strict.

Please read what I have said previously. Remember, our cycling isn't the high be all end all sport that is tested, SAIDS have numerous sports that gets tested and then those samples have to sit in line and wait for its chance to be tested, for more than one thing, so numerous tests, its not just a one week thing.

I'm tempted to criticize SAIDS, but its a bit like slamming the 'regulators' that intend to clean up this beautiful sport.

Don't believe we, as enthusiasts here, have all the information to criticise them with fair comment.

That is a very broad brush you are wielding there.
