I use Vichy Capital Soleil 50+ on my legs, sun sleeves for the arms.

Expensive but works the best, no oily residue either.

I liked Vichy and it worked very well, but I found that it stained my white cycling tops at the collar and arms where it came into contact with the fabric. It made a light brown stain that was very difficult to remove from the fabric and sometimes left a permanent pinkish stain.

Sun block on the exposed bits is the easy part, getting the right amount of self tan on the covered parts my body to get an even colour all over is just hectic. Too much stress. ;) It is like paint by numbers, except I keep smudging over the lines!

Just discovered Cetaphil Daylong Kids 50+, very water resistant, non-greasy and won't block pores. (Says so on the bottle...) Doesn't run into my eyes and not too sticky. Did well on my last long outing in the sun.

Fake tan is on the Banned Substance List ;)

Also on Techniblock 40 spray and seems good so far.

Can anyone recommend a portable sunblock? Considering one for the Otter run.

I know they make the roll-ons but do you still need to rub it on your skin?

Ideally would like to keep my hands from being full of greasy sunblock.
