The "I hate Specialized" Bandwagon...... what's the deal?

Wonder if this isn't a matter of availability. Are there other brands that have specialist stores in SA like Specialized? If there were Cannondale exclusive shops that carried all the Cannondale branded gear as well, I wonder if we'd see lots of head to toe Cannondale wearing fans too?

The thought crossed my mind in traffic this morning... as these things do... :P

Sad story, but he is right.

So as a Spez rider, I'll openly admit, I miss my Niners.

Things just ain't the same...

This should make you feel better

I've never had issues with Specialized bikes or Spez riders.  Just enjoy the ride.....whatever you ride!

But this is a bit arrogant in my opinion.....!  Test the Best?  .....just dont forget to bring your credit card!

Just my point of view......

Test the best simply means, the BEST bike for you. It is there to figure out whether you need a Epic, or a Camber or Stumpy etc etc. Credit card and drivers license is purely needed because we live in good old crime ridden SA. And seeing a s-works is worth the same as a polo vivo, do you blame them for asking?

Very few other companies provide these demo days, Giant have a few, but nowhere near as big.

"Test the 2nd best" doesnt quite sound right does it....... every leading brand should believe what they create is the best or they shouldnt be in business....

Best also refers to best in their line-up. Other bike companies have a few well used entry level bikes available. I did a ride before you buy day almost 2 years ago before buying my Stumpy FSR. I was convinced that I wanted an Epic until I rode the Stumpy.

Stoppit, waiting patiently for my new Stumpy. Keeping my epic and selling off some other bikes. Now if I can only decide between the expert or comp carbon. mmmm.

I'm secretly thinking of selling my Stumpy and getting an Epic... And an Enduro! Perhaps I should keep the Stumpy and get the other bikes anyway. So confused. Dont lnow what to do.

I also wanted to get the enduro, the 650b, but the bikeshop told me to rather get the stumpy. So badly want to test that Enduro.

My old man just got himself one to go with his Epic, I have never seen a 50+ year old man look so happy and smile like a child when he rides it. So I suggest you try it out, at that "arrogant" test the best function.

What puts me off on the enduro is the 1x 10 gearing setup. I would buy the comp version, I have too many expensive, R50k + bikes, so the expert model is no go.
