Spez is hated equally across the disciplines.

especially when you think  you have a patent on names like "Roubaix" for example :whistling:

If I buy a new bike it will have to be BMC road and Dale Mtb. Spez will not see my money again.

And i heard a rumour that Mr Freewheel Cycology claimed he was going to have 2 x Spaz concept stores. He said this to a UK relative who was out here for the Argus.

As far as the Spaz mentality is concerned, I saw a very dirty S Wox on the back of an Audi into town this am. Now either he rode the Epic on his Epic and was taking it to le Concept Store filthy and unwashed, or he wanted people to think he'd just done the Epic on it :-)

Funny, my wife often runs past Cycology and noticed they started stocking spez very recently.

Just about every industry has a market leader. Why bicycles in this instance not only upsets some people, but almost borders on hate is beyond me. Go ride whatever makes you moister than an oyster and move on.

41 pages of this. Its a bicycle brand that has a large market. Really, that's it.

I can confirm that Big Ben was lying earlier in the thread. He has been a closet Giant fan for many years - hiding behing a Spesh addiction - and has finally come out as he discovered that the co-sponsor of the Giant road team - Alpecin - make a product right up his alley: "Caffeine Shampoo"...

As you well know I do not buy bikes from Game or Makro ......

A little birdie told me around 33k but that was last year and the price they were aiming for.

Speaking of Pyga, are there any indications of cost on the ninetyfive29c yet?

Giant canned all it's cycling sponsorship apart from Road and Liv which technically is not really Giant.

From what I have heard is that Giant canned a good portion of their mens XCO in order to focus more on road ,not sure how true this is?? Emile Lindgren was a a former Giant factory racing member

Ever heard of the Giant Factory off road team - includes several real mountain bikers who go really fast downhill on Reigns and Glory's??
