This is just a point less rant.

How do one get rid of these fake stats from strava? Notice that some dude completed a segment on my route in 25sec 105kph avg - not that i care about that specific segment but it just dilutes the value of strava.

Already have hard enough time believing some of the stats on strava.

Flag the ride when the stats are obviously out of sorts. Many chaps use a garmin device and forget to switch it off after the ride, as the auto pause function makes it easy to switch it on and leave it. Load up after the ride and accidentally blow all the segments out of the water... If you flag it, it will be removed.

Seems you do care, otherwise you would not have posted about it.  It's just an app which you should really use to compare your segments against one another to see if you are improving.  Use it for what it is meant to be.

Exactly what I did once... Rode a trail, got back to car and headed home (forgot to switch of tracker), and the drive home goes through a few very popular climbs/routes for roadies..

Get home and I just seem a lot of emails on my phone and crowns on my segments... Oops!!

But deleted them swiftly before I got an irate message from someone... especially if they compared my usual times from when I ride the road route..

You can also just crop the ride to remove the part done in your car and still keep all the other data from the ride.

Yip, after a google search it is what I ended up doing

Just flag them. I had one of my rides flagged by the time I got home because I had forgotten to turn the GPS off and upset some people.

Ended up just cropping the ride and all was well after that.
