Eurotunnel is booked for first thing Tuesday morning next week.

 

Then it's a 12 hour drive through France and into northern Spain - I'm hoping for a clear run through the Pyrenees - haven't driven in snow for a few years and not keen to start now!

Just do one thing at a time and slowly.  Ie, slowly brake, slowly turn the wheel, slowly accelerate.  If you get stuck, you can generally get out if you "rock" the car, ie move forward and backward until you can get traction again.

After two pretty grey weeks in the UK, Spain is looking fantastic! 19 degrees and sunny today. Not bad for February in the Northern hemisphere. Lots of people out riding and there hasn't been much winter rain, so there isn't much mud anywhere.
