U1Nanimous Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Okay, all caught up. So where is the project, what is happening?
Bonus Posted April 12, 2025 Author Posted April 12, 2025 Man - I can't believe its so long since I posted on here! After Covid I started popping over to the UK to work with my son every so often, which certainly helped with our day to day expenses in Spain, but didn't really answer the question as to how we were going to find the money we needed to convert our "barn". Fast forward to present day and I'm happy to say that after some hard work and some personal sacrifice (time apart) we are now in a position where we spoke to our Spanish builder last week and he's working out when exactly he can now start with Phase 1 of our Project 🙂 🙂 Wannabe, michaelbiker, Zebra and 8 others 9 2
Bonus Posted June 15, 2025 Author Posted June 15, 2025 After another 8 week stint in the UK - mostly down in the South East (which is where I actually originally come from) I popped back to Spain two weeks ago for a fortnights break. While I was here our next lump of work was postponed by three weeks - so my 2 week break has turned into a 5 week break! I never turn down work and I'd never take a 5 week holiday if there was work to do - but if this is a natural break in our workload and I happen to be stuck at home in Spain for 5 weeks I'm certainly going to make the most of it 🙂 Temperatures are around 30 Degrees in the afternoons, trails are dry and fast and within a few days the river will be warm enough to swim in. Life is good 🙂 DJuice, Prince Albert Cycles, SilverRider and 11 others 11 3
Bonus Posted July 30, 2025 Author Posted July 30, 2025 Just had another three weeks back in the UK working. Now I'm home again for 10 days and this Friday is the Guaso Fiesta up in our village. Looking forward to it 🙂 mazambaan, TIB, BigDL and 4 others 7
Bonus Posted November 16, 2025 Author Posted November 16, 2025 We had some heavy rain up in the mountains last night. Today it's working it's way down to the Mediano Dam through the village we rent a flat in. The river is wide enough to cope, so no problem, but there's certainly a ton of water passing over our little weir every minute 🙂 HdB, Spinnaroonie, ChrisF and 8 others 11

Bonus Posted April 4 Author Posted April 4 Looks nice, but it's a long way from the Pyrenees! I guess in Estate Agent "speak", if you can see the mountains on the horizon it still counts :-) ChrisF, BigDL and IceCreamMan 3
