From Google Earth, this is what I'm picking up in terms of 'climbs' (nothing major to write home about... 1126m elevation over 111km is not that bad).

Hill # 1 (right from the start line):  1.2 km @  3.6%

Hill # 2:  2.2 km @  4%

Hill # 3:  4.2 km @  3.2%

Hill # 4:  1.6 km @  3.2%

Hill # 5:  20.0 km @  1.4%

Hill # 6:  3.4 km @  2%

Hill # 7 (to the finish line):  1.4 km @  5%

The top of Hill # 6 is basically the end of the climbing (except obviously for the hump at the finish) and the start of the long flat run to the finish.

It comes at the 64 km mark, so that's a good yardstick to keep in mind during the race.

If you're struggling to hold on during that long gradual 20 km incline out of the valley, you know it will end at around 64km, then you can wheelsuck the rest of the way ;).

Lets chat Monday, this is a tougher ride than the stats suggest especially if there is wind.

I have a feeling is going to be a long day in the saddle.... Please Please don't let me be alone again after the 65km mark!

I remember this finish very clearly from last year. It was painfull and slow. I also had good wake-up calls at the Wilro (about the same route) and Rooiwal (same wind) races. I will not be taking turns at the front of AL. Shameful but true. Survival mode while I watch my seeding disappear.
