If you are running the Hobbit, any option including a black bag and dust bin rag tent is worth it!

Will probably a month or more before we get it here

I am genuinely interested in this piece of tech.

The Suunto 9 can last up to 120 hours which is handy, but this is a whole new level. I see Takealot are selling the Suunto 9 for 6k, which means they probably have a similar 'ultra adventure' watch on the horizon.

I like the way this is going. 200 milers, PTL and being able to track an adventure race would be really cool

Have you had a look at the Coros range? https://mobile.coros.com/apex.php

I like the look of that nylon strap. But I'm fairly certain after a couple runs that thing will be pretty rancid, so maybe practicality not so great.

I did!

The Apex is a fantastic option too at a really good price.

I am weighing up a few options on this, especially with 2 x 200 mile races coming up later in the year

So it took what.. 2 days to decide on MacMac 200?

Eloff and Frikkie peer pressured me hard..... So it actually took 2 messages from them before I caved.

I do really struggle to say no to people when it comes to doing adventures!
