Then the other parts of the route through storm water drains probably not such a hot idea after heavy rains. It was inevitable that the event couldn't be held...

Also, I imagine the risk now is that rain and storms will be more prevalent for the next few months and might have to cancel or postpone again. Pity non the less, I was looking forward to the event.

Not sure what the take will be now they're changing the wording to postponed, but this is what they said yesterday on their Facebook page about possibly cancelling.
