If I had money and a good job back home I would be on a plane back already and it has only been one week! On the other hand I have invested too much money to turn back now! Keep yourself busy by exploring your surroundings be it parks, forests or coffee shops - it is exciting to have found places to take your family once they arrive and will help them adjust more easily. My Nephew left 35 days ago to study in Europe. I'll give you the advise I gave him - don't sit still. Join clubs & groups, with common interests. Or even something out of your circle. Just don't sit & over analyse everything you have vs what you had... New beginnings!
