Discovery Health - Vitality & Team Vitality plus everything else you need to know

1. Just the Healthy Gear portion. That Device booster seems like a lot of hard work.... and all adult dependents need to do the assessments to activate the 25% cash back as far as I know

2. Thanks. Wasn't sure about the sequence. Better to walk in there knowing what to do [emoji106]

3. This I was aware of thanks.

1. You just said in your original post that you had "(All Done) your Vitality Fitness Assessments". [emoji848]

The device booster is pretty simple. Pay the R350 activation fee and earn R2000 back over the next 24 months if you acheive all your goals.

Yes with specific reference to the Healthy Gear benefit. Besides all those points earned for doing the assessments (be they physical or medical) all accrue towards your points target.

Due to various commitments we are not always able to achieve our weekly goals so the cost involved and the payback amount over that period, to me, hardly seems worth the effort.

R2000 - R350 divided by 24 months equates to R68,75/month (Or am I missing something?)

Ok so I booked flights to cape town last sunday, not thinking about vitality discounts or anything.

Yesterday my riding mate reminded me, but the problem is I've booked and paid for the flights.

Anyone know if there is anyway to claim back the difference ?

10% as standard, see above. :P

I thought so too, but I just checked to see where I keep getting 15% from in my head and the vitality dashboard says I'm getting 15% sportsmans, 10% totalsports (pre fitness assessment). Guess it is the preferred partner thing. Thanks Myles :)

I think you get 15% if you do the know your vitality age questionnaire, then 25 after the assessment. Not entirely sure on that though

Healthy gear is 12 months, device booster is 24 and the bicycle 1 is 36.

Songeat is up to R500 back once off and 130 odd back per month, device is up to 1k back and like 60 whatever back each month.

And yeah sure, it can be considered a lot of effort, but makes ur goals 4 weeks in a row over 3 of 12 months and you break even.

These systems howber, while designed to motivate the seditary, only really work for the active.

Sorry for harping on here.... with the device booster, can that be used together with Healthy Gear or is it a case of either or?

If you miss any of your goals for the month, do you forfeit the benefit completely or is it only for that 4 week cycle and then the benefit continues when you start achieving your goals again?
