It's their financial year end coming up (end-June), so I suspect that must be one of the reasons for the limited number of accounts being migrated.

That and the app does not work. Crashes if I try and open an account, on both my phones.

It's been pretty painful to work everything from the app thus far. My application is in, but uploading proof of residence via the phone is a pain to start with, and secondly, they didn't want to accept my FNB Cheque statement as it can't be from FRB/FNB. They didn't accept my current lease agreement as it expires within the next 3 months. They won't accept my Discovery Insurance documentation, as it's from themselves. And all my other accounts are on my postal address.

Whelp.

I had a the same problem with Wesbank when I got my car. I eventually told them to drive to my house and confirm my address for themselves. They gave me the car. I don't think they ever drove to my house.

As far as I know it is the FICA regulations and not Discovery that state you can’t use an account from the same institution. That’s the reason I have an Edcon account and my utility bill showing my home address. I only use the Edgars account about twice a year to keep it active.

How do you guys reach your weekly goal if you are sick? What a pain, I would love to run but don't want to do more damage.

Depends on what points you on, 900 or 1200?  If 900, do a park walk Saturday, do a myrun walk on Sunday and then swipe at the gym for the other days.

Personally I do a park walk and then swipe the other 6 days at the gym to make 900.

If you on 1200 you will struggle unless you do a workout or 2 when sick!

You earn 300 points for a park run or a MyRun in the same week, not both. Best case you'd get 300 for the one and 100 for the other unless you actually run and get the 300hr points.

Thanks for clarifying if that is the case, Have not done a park run and MyRun in the same weekend so would not know.

That's what discovery says on Thier site.

Honestly I think that is daft, why not reward people for being active twice, the entire point of vitality, at least in the marketing is to promote health through activity, so why not let 5hwm get 600 points in a weekend for organised runs, I can get it by being active so why not the starters or the sick.

Rather 2 active days than none hey...

Sure, I get that. Doesn't make it any less of a pain in the ass when all my other accounts are on a postal address.

I've gone and updated one of my accounts, but now the app doesn't work.

Fun.

I also do the ParkRun (walk) and gym swipes to get to 900. For that reason alone I decided against the 1200 option.
