I think a relocation of venue would have left less of a bad taste in the mouth than this! There is a small race taking place in Vanderbijlpark this weekend. Contact the organisers, use the same Metro guys, chat to the marshals, flip man!

I'm happy to help where I can, BUT... I have a race that needs all my attention (late Feb) so perhaps after the Cycle Tour - then we can get the ball rolling. If you're serious about improvements then the time is here to make a difference.

I have two boys, that have really done their bit for these champs and I can just imagine the disappointment when I tell them this afternoon....

If you're serious about improvements then the time is here to make a difference. I am not a serious rider, but I'll also help scouting, etc roads. Bloody good idea that. It's probably being held out on the "Stokkiesdraai" road which would have been fine... Nope. Not from Stonehaven. It's from the Mittal area out to the berry farm and back via Barrage. 2 laps - 160km. Problem with the specific route though is that it's flat and FAST!

JA-Q001 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Free state is cheap too I guess its because they don't use timing companies, the comm's still have to do the job of calculating the results. And I don't think anyone would show up if a race like this cost them R 300 in FS, they are still used to R 50 entry fee for the "kerk" race. I miss those days.
