I think a relocation of venue would have left less of a bad taste in the mouth than this! There is a small race taking place in Vanderbijlpark this weekend. I'm happy to help where I can, BUT... I have a race that needs all my attention (late Feb) so perhaps after the Cycle Tour - then we can get the ball rolling. It's probably being held out on the "Stokkiesdraai" road which would have been fine... Nope. Not from Stonehaven. It's from the Mittal area out to the berry farm and back via Barrage. 2 laps - 160km. And I don't think anyone would show up if a race like this cost them R 300 in FS, they are still used to R 50 entry fee for the "kerk" race. I miss those days.
