I was going to ask if it's only open to pro's but FB already went ahead and nominated Tombeej, so I suggest having categories to allow for more options:

Male Pro (Int'l)

Female Pro (Int'l)

Male Pro (local)

Female Pro (local)

Hubber?
Other

blah blah blah

Int Male pro I'd say Peter Sagan, brilliant race strategy in the World's and just an all round nice guy. Int Lady pro I'd say Pauline Ferrand Prevot, a smiling assassin who is a good racer regardless of discipline. Local Male pro is easy Greg Minnaar like Sagan is a solidly nice guy and a champion athlete. Local Lady pro Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, always smiling and won the 94.7 despite a fall.

Easy, one of our own, Tombeej.........attachicon.giftombeej.jpg

Motivation: for his selfless role in mentoring the I-Team at the 947 and encouraging it to continue beyond..... He herded the panic-merchants and detail-devils towards a common goal and dispensed educational advice by the bucket load. Seems like a great ambassador for the sport to me.....

agree also... although I haven't met him as yet, he has offered his help a few times and the knowledge & info he shares is always of great assistance.

AC is definitely one of the most humble, accommodating and happy heros I know of. Always has a smile and has generous praise for his rivals. And if he doesn't like someone he'll never badmouth them in public. Through all the *** with Bruyneel & LA during his time at Astana I don't remember him ever coming out and saying what was happening to him, what he thought of them, etc. He just got on with things.

This vid from the GCN guys shows what a down-to-earth guy he is. I've got a lot of time for AC.

Re. nicest Hubbers of the year, for me the ones who need a mention are those guys & gals who all contributed to the good causes that appeared on the Hub from time to time.

FRAIL's troubles obviously come to mind, but there were a lot more where Hubbers stepped in to help with their time and money.

I can't remember everyone, but Wayne Potgieter comes to mind. Dipslick was involved too in drumming up support for good causes.

Who else deserves a mention?

Eish, who'd want to be an interviewer?! On the verge of popping and he still has to think about questions!
