You guys don't get it. Once one of "the manufacturers" go this route it'll be touted as the be all and end all, cutting, leading and on the edge technologies that you can have NOW for the low low price of an arm, a leg and a kidney. 100% guaranteed to make no bloody difference to your enjoyment at all. But then maybe i'm just skeptical.

Correct! It is closer to a high end fibre-reinforced polymer. They substituted glass or aramide with the somehow still "exotic" carbon, and used probably the same thermoplast.

Exactly. I've been using it a bit for other industries, but there are lots of people in SA using it

So how easy is it to produce goods?

 

Get a design dialled, make a mould and then what sort of production equipment is required. .....wonder if there is any scope for a sa company with the right skill set to push out components.
