Did Hoogies yesterday morning, and the only section where the wind could be felt was on the final descent ... the rest was rather nice.

Hoping to get out to TK for spin this December, just need to decide if the petrol + R75 is worth going to ride there.

just get 3 mates and get a year permit @ R300ish per person. Then you're sorted for TBM and Tokyo.

Think i was on TMB 2, maybe 3 times last year ... but I get your point.

I've already renewed my activity card. But I'm seriously considering a Tygerberg membership for weekday rides. R670 is pretty steep though. Especially for a problem that might resolve itself sooner rather than later. Then again I'll probably need more cash for Afrikaans lessons.

is there strava times at tokai?

i wanna whoop some peoples times nd get strava

using a stop watch is plain boring and there's no competition

Plenty of times but if that's your goal you might get bitten.

There may be baboons there but don't try and monkey with times just enjoy the ride.

In that case don't hassle - Tokai might be open sooner than later.
